Why join Pakenham Little Athletics?
We are a growing club with level 2 and 3 qualified coaches who will cultivate your child’s love of running, jumping, throwing and participating in a sport that challenges them to be their best all while having fun!
Can my child try Little Athletics before joining?
Absolutely. All new athletes have 2 FREE come and try’s – Your child must have turned 5.
How do I register?
Registrations will open online through the LAVic website or through Pakenham Litte Athletics Website
How much does it cost?
The cost is $235 per athlete for the season, covers both summer athletics and winter cross country.
What is included in the registration cost?
Registration provides access to the following:
– learn from qualified coaches for the duration of the season;
– participate in weekly club competitions as well as some select inter club competitions;
– receive recognition through awards including certificates, medals and trophies;
– be a part of a community that values Family, Fun and Fitness.
When does the season start?
The season kicks off on Saturday 5th October 2024
Is there training available?
Our coaches are running training sessions every Tuesday night 5.30pm to 6:30pm for all registered athletes over the summer season.
Advanced coaching with our training partner Kidz On Track are held on different days for different disciplines.

What is the uniform?
A Pakenham Little Athletics shirt or singlet over black shorts with no pockets with runners must be worn.
When are competitions held?
Competitions are held most Saturday mornings during the season starting from 8:15am with a 8:30 start. We are usually finished by midday. There are also some twilight competitions scheduled for Thursday evenings from 6:00pm finishing around 8:00pm.
How old does my child need to be?
Children who have turned five (5) by 1 January to December are allowed to sign up.
Does my child have to be at a particular level of ability to join?
No way. Children can join at any level of skill or fitness. Our emphasis is on fun and fitness and we encourage and recognise personal bests
